Soldier remembered for a life well-lived
Ryan McGhee lived and attended school in Springfield from fourth through the end of ninth grade, and during that time, made many close friends, which was evident by the turnout of old classmates at the memorial Friday night at the VFW in Springfield.Friends remember fallen soldier
Army Ranger Cpl. Ryan McGhee, 21, who died in Iraq on May 13, missed the Green Mountain State so much that his new classmates in Virginia called him "Vermont," Mike Laplante told a memorial gathering in McGhee's honor Friday evening.

McGhee Memorial Service Moved

Town asks $6.5M for water, sewer projects
