Tickets will be sold at local hot spots within the communities served by the Center the weekend of May 15 and 16. The event will be held on Sunday, May 23 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the SAPCC grounds located at 2-6 Main Street in North Springfield. • Tickets are also available for purchase at the SAPCC office and Myrtle's Closet- a thrift store. • This year's Great Annual Duck Race will be held in conjunction with the Center's ground breaking ceremony. Friends and interested parties are invited to join the ground breaking ceremony for the Center's new building and receive a free souvenir shovel. • All ducks will hit the water to begin their great race at 1:30. Tickets will be available for purchase at the event. A $200 grand prize is awarded to the first duck to cross the finish line. The first 11 ducks win prizes. • The fair is held in rain or in sunshine. •
