Springfield teen crashes into State Police cruiser

A New Hampshire state police trooper and a Vermont teenager are recovering from injuries suffered when the teenager's car rolled into the path of the trooper's cruiser in Charlestown.
http://www.burlingtonfreepress.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=2010101007012    NH state trooper hurt in crash with Vermont teen  • By The Associated Press • Thursday, October 7, 2010  • CHARLESTOWN, N.H. — A New Hampshire state police trooper and a Vermont teenager are recovering from injuries suffered when the teenager's car rolled into the path of the trooper's cruiser in Charlestown.  • The New Hampshire State Police say a car driven by 16-year-old Michael Facteau of Springfield, Vt., went out of control on Route 12 at about 10:45 p.m. Wednesday, into the path of the cruiser, driven by Trooper Jason Hickox, of state police Troop G.  • Facteau and Hickox were both taken to Valley Regional Hospital in Claremont where they were treated for minor injuries and released.  • The cause of the collision remains under investigation. Police say alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash.  •
