A motorist with a baby on board drove upward of 99 mph Monday on Interstate 91 in Springfield, Vermont State Police Trooper Jeremy Peters said in a statement Tuesday.

Police stopped Michael Myrick, 32, of North Babylon, N.Y., at about 11:15 a.m., citing him to appear in Vermont Superior Court in White River Junction on suspicion of negligent operation and child endangerment.
