  1. One hundred profitable more years coming as Springfield residents choke on the forthcoming air pollution from the biomess plant and are forced to seek treatment while the "professionals" working at the hospital remain silent... Will they celebrate that in the future?

  2. Negativity can ALWAYS be counted on here! Thanks for not letting me down.

    1. One has to deal with reality and many times the truth is not as rosy the profiteers would have one believe. Self promotional celebrations are merely self-serving PR events to bewitch the masses while they are led into the slaughterhouse.

    2. "profiteers" ???? Ah, in case you haven't figured it out.... if there is no profit, there is no business. If there is no business, there is no society (as we have come to enjoy it). Stop with the 'greedy evil corporations' already. We're all 'greedy'. Greed is a good thing. Work hard, earn a good life!!!!

  3. I think it is a good and safe way to get to the hospital, after all the years of not having one, when it is turned over to the town, and it takes care of it , don't complain if it is not cleaned up right away, and since it is new and the town has to take care of it, My guess they will have a ton of salt on it , thus destroying it within the first year of ownership, and adding it to the list of needed repairs for side walks the following year. I hope not ??

Thank you Springfield hospital for all that you do. Springfield has had more than her share of misfortune over the last thirty years. We have lost our shops and all the good jobs that went away with them but we continue to have a fine local hospital with a skilled and caring staff. You continue to take care of our community and we appreciate it.

  6. Every time I come to this blog, there is an overwhelming amount of negative responses from 'Anonymous' people. I understand that everyone has concerns and opinions about what is going on in our town, but anonymously voicing these ideas in a negative way shows visitors from other cities and states just what kind of society resides in this town. Either: Own your "voice" and start a constructive dialogue, or; keep your opinions to yourself.
