  1. This is preposterous, how can there be industry in an industrial park?

    Does NOSAG know about this?

  2. Absolutely, how DARE anyone even THINK of putting something industrial in an industrial park. The whole point of the North Springfield Industrial Park is to have a Park, get it? As in with benches, squirrrels, trees. We wouldn't want the citizens of Springfield to have access to prosperity would we? Better to defend the fictitious quality of life by objecting to anything and everything that might improve the tax base and offer decent jobs.

    1. Come on, get real. The recent editorial about the biomass plant was accused of comparing apples to oranges. That's what you're doing here Look at the facts and compare the negative impact of a biomass plant versus this processing facility I agree that there have been some sketchy reasons against building this plant. There has been propaganda and grasping at straws on both sides. A reasonable person only has to look at the facts to see this is a bad thing. It's the 40 tons of toxic particulate matter plus the tons of other proven toxins that will be emitted each year out of a shortened stack that should be of prime concern. The emissions info is not propaganda, it is/was on the NSSEP website. I'll bet you were gung ho about hosting the prison as well. Poor, desperate, ignorant Springfield

  3. FAIL. I was against the prison. Pretty bad assumption you were making there.

This isn't about the biomass plant, it is about a meatpacking plant. Where is the outrage from NOSAG over the expected additional truck traffic, to say nothing of the anticipated hazardous waste? Normally these people would be all over it like white on rice with their heartfelt editorials bemoaning the loss of their quality of life.
