Fate of proposed biomass plant in hands of PSB

Will a Massachusetts developer get the OK to build a wood-fired biomass plant in North Springfield? That's what the Public Service Board must now decide.

  2. Panels like this are designed to approve whatever the developers want while pretending to be looking after the public's interest. The big con. This plant would be approved even if they planned on burning people in order to produce power. The only thing that would stop this plant is if Vermont had laws like they do in Massachusetts. Why is this plant being built in Vermont instead of Massachusetts?

These City-Its don't care about what the citizens

    1. Same here.. I'm a native of Springfield and we need to start with this. With a town of almost 10,000 I see only about a 100 pp upset.

  8. No one even talks about the water this plant will use if they drill a well they will most likely drain any nearby wells including the towns wells that are only a mile or two away.
    Good Luck Springfield.
