SPRINGFIELD — Siera Butler belted a three-run homer to highlight a five-run third inning and Brattleboro improved to 7-2 behind the six-hit pitching of Hannah Wilson.
McKinlie Carpenter had three htis and drove in two runs for the Colonels.
Losing pitcher Heather Sanborn didn’t have her good stuff and was forced to throw fastballs to find the strike zone in her four-inning stint.
