Sarah Locke got the win striking out nine over five innings for the Cosmos. Brooke Bove had the only hit for Mill River and scored its lone run on a passed ball. Mill River (3-6) plays at Otter Valley today where the Otters will be dedicating the field to Pattie Candon. Springfield improved to 4-3.
