Dealer sentenced; gets two-year deal December 06,2014 Email Article Print Article Dealer sentenced; gets 2-year deal WHITE RIVER JUNCTION — A Springfield man who was caught last year dealing drugs on both sides of the state line has been sentenced. Ronald “Hercules” Reddic, 56, pleaded guilty to heroin trafficking on Thursday, and in exchange, the state dropped a cocaine possession charge that had been filed against him. Reddic was sentenced to two years in prison beginning this month, a sentence he will serve in New Hampshire concurrently with an existing four- to 10-year sentence he is currently serving for selling heroin and crack cocaine in the Granite State. Vermont Assistant Attorney General Paul Barkus said Reddic had “a very bad criminal record” before detectives with the Vermont Drug Task Force found 197 bags of heroin in one of Reddic’s pockets when he was searched. It was only weeks after that arrest, while he was out on pre-trial conditions, having pleaded innocent in Vermont, that Reddic was picked up selling drugs during two separate controlled buys conducted by New Hampshire authorities.
I say : 50 lashes between the legs until true to your last name.
ReplyDeleteConcurrent sentence, the only good thing about this sentence is that NH is getting stuck with the prison bill.
ReplyDeleteNew Hampshire gives him 4 to 10 years and Vermont gives him 2? Those 2 years to be served at the same time that he serves the 4 to 10. Another joke sentence.
