Springfield man arrested in connection with Dec. 23 crash

Springfield man arrested in connection with Dec. 23 crash Thomas Supernois charged in connection with crash Published 9:39 PM EST Jan 03, 2015 ROCKINGHAM, Vt. —Vermont State Police troopers said they arrested 44-year-old Thomas Supernois, of Springfield, in connection with a Dec. 23 vehicle crash on Interstate 91. Police said Supernois told them his girlfriend, who was pinned under the car after the crash, was the driver. The woman, however, told authorities she did not remember the crash or who was driving. Authorities said they met with Supernois on Friday, where Supernois told them he had lied to the trooper at the crash scene. Police said Supernois was charged with driving with a criminally suspended license, careless and negligent operation of a motor vehicle and false information to a law enforcement officer. They said he will also face several traffic tickets.
