Optum donates 45 laptops
SPRINGFIELD — Optum plans to donate nine refurbished laptop computers to the Springfield Town Library in Springfield next week, as part of the company’s donation of 45 laptops to five public libraries across Vermont.
Optum, the information technology vendor for Vermont’s health insurance marketplace, Vermont Health Connect, is donating nine laptops each to Rutland Free Library, Aldrich Public Library in Barre, Essex Free Library, Springfield Town Library and Cobleigh Public Library in Lyndonville.
The Rutland, Barre and Lyndonville events have already occurred, and the Essex event is scheduled for Dec. 2.
