Springfield jail guard charged with felony

A guard employed by the Springfield jail was arrested earlier today and then released with a citation requiring him to appear in court later this month to answer a felony charge of false claims for having allegedly billed the state of Vermont for work hours when he wasn't actually on-duty at the jail.

  1. In order for a Correctional Officer to receive overtime pay, their time sheets must be approved by their Supervisor. Time sheets are very tricky to complete properly, that's why it's checked over by other people before being sent to VT Dept. of Human Resources. Who approved his time? Could not just have been him.

  3. Wow, I was a whistleblower for how corrupt the operations were within that facility. They pushed me out to work at the Windsor Work Camp. I had to wait three months without pay! WTF is right. VT Dept. of Corruptions.
