On behalf of all veterans in Springfield, I encourage all voters to get out and vote on March 1 at our town meeting. You have a chance to show your support for all the disabled veterans in Springfield by voting yes for Article 11.

Giving a break to veterans

On behalf of all veterans in Springfield, I encourage all voters to get out and vote on March 1 at our town meeting. You have a chance to show your support for all the disabled veterans in Springfield by voting yes for Article 11. This article allows those disabled veterans to exclude a portion of the value of their property from taxes. This is the least we can do for those that have put their lives in harm’s way to protect the freedoms we enjoy. Springfield is one of the few towns in Vermont that has not provided the full benefit that was allowed by the Vermont Legislature to our many Springfield disabled veterans. You can make a difference by showing your support and voting yes for Article 11.
