Second annual chocolate tasting at vault
SPRINGFIELD – Chocolate lovers take note: Gallery at the VAULT is hosting its second annual Chocolate Tasting on Saturday, February 5, from 12 Noon until 5 PM. Visitors will be able to sample an assortment of fine chocolates and chocolate confections made by local artisans and chefs. Several of Vermont’s prime chocolatiers including Laughing Moon in Stowe and Snowflake Chocolates in Jericho are participating. Boxed assortments of chocolate goodies will also be for sale on the day of the event.
“After picking your favorite it’s easy to order more chocolates online and most will ship to a loved one anywhere in the USA,” said event organizer, Michelle Scharwath. You can find links to participating chocolatiers on VAULT’s website at www.galleryvault.org. The Tasting is free and open to the public however a suggested donation of $3 helps support VAULT’s children’s programs.
For your Valentine, VAULT has heart-shaped items such as pewter coffee scoops & measuring spoons, hand-blown glass paper weights, ring holders & tea light holders, clay ornaments, heart-shaped pins in a variety of media and Ron Cravens sterling jewelry, as well as a large assortment of scarves and many other items that would make a lovely gift for your sweetheart.
VAULT is a Vermont State Craft Center and non-profit organization offering local and regional art, adult workshops and children’s programs. VAULT is located at 68 Main Street in Downtown Springfield.
