Hundreds of students from all areas of the Springfield High School Arts Academy were recently enriched by three visiting artists.

Susan Leader, local potter worked with Bob Pauls U.S. History CATS classes and art students of Lisa Murray and Anne Katomski, Ashley Hensel-Browning shared her dance talent and expertise with World Language students and Jim Chlebak's music students and Elissa Campbell, book- maker, worked with Susan Fog's Western Civilization students, Joanna Coleman's Sophomore English Arts, Marlene Allen's CATS Geometry, Belinda Hathorn's CATS Biology and Dave Slivka's Freshman CATS Geography.

The CATS program (Collaborative Arts Technical School) has grown tremendously since its origin of over eleven (11) years .

Photographs include Senior Alaina Page , Ashley Hensel Browning and James Chlebac dancing with chorus students, Elissa Campbell with Sophomore Adam Beam, Sophomore Erika Christman making a "panel book".

UVM Dancing Uphill, a modern dance concert, will be on March 30th in the Kevin Sheehan Auditorium at Springfield HIgh School. More information will be coming on this upcoming performance and the community is welcome to attend at no charge and enjoy a college level dance program.
