VINEsanctuary — Feb 23, 2011 —
VINE (Veganism is the Next Evolution) is a farmed animal sanctuary that is home to roosters, hens, cows, and horses. VINE, which was previously known as the Eastern Shore Sanctuary and Education Center, moved to Springfield, VT in June 2009. In this video, sanctuary co-founder Miriam Jones talks about everything from rehabbing roosters, to the intelligence of chickens, to why veganism is the next evolution.
To say veganism (not just vegetarianism) is such a no-brainer that any animal lover MUST be one AND comparing it in any way to rape and violence against women is insane!!! Holy cow (pun intended)- this lady is a bit nuts.
ReplyDeletetypical dumb-ass male clown you are
DeleteAnonymous, please cast off your blinders and recognize that species of a victim is irrelevant; all of us feel pain and joy and all of us are capable of great suffering. Just because other species cannot articulate in words that we are unwilling to try to understand does not mean that suffering isn't every bit as intense and valid to the victim who endures it. I am a woman, and I am a vegan and I am a feminist, and I am perfectly comfortable with the comparison between the rape of birds and humans. It's the suffering that counts, not the species.
