It happened around 8 p.m. on Route 106 in North Springfield. No word yet on how serious the injuries to the pedestrian are or if the driver stopped. There were reports that a DHART helicopter was called to the scene. 10 a.m. Update at:

North Springfield woman severely injured after hit by two cars

NORTH SPRINGFIELD — A North Springfield woman was severely injured Sunday evening after she was struck by two cars on Route 106 in the vicinity of the Cota & Cota store, Springfield police said.
Christine Harris, 46, was walking Sunday evening when she was struck first by a car operated by Stephen Moore, 69, of Weathersfield, and then by a second car operated by Alexis LaValley, 19, of Lempster, N.H.
Police said Harris was immediately airlifted by the DHART helicopter to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H., due to the severity of her injuries. Harris was in critical condition as of Monday morning.
Police said that both Moore and LaValley were southbound on Route 106 when the accident occurred and it was dark.
Police also said it appeared that neither speed nor alcohol or drugs were involved.
Any witnesses are asked to call Springfield Police at 885-2113.
