Opinion: Appreciate the efforts of those making a difference
I would just like to say thank you to the organizations and individuals who are trying hard to make a positive difference in our town — it is being noticed.

To the Editor:
I would just like to say thank you to the organizations and individuals who are trying hard to make a positive difference in our town — it is being noticed. I was driving home the other day with my 12-year-old son and he said to me, “The planters and plantings around town look really nice.” I thought to myself, it truly is all the little things that people are doing around town to make a difference and in the eyes of our children those things do matter. So please let’s keep moving forward in a positive direction...we care about our town and believe we can change things. Please notice the positive changes and be appreciative of those efforts.

I agree. good to see some people still noticing and thinking positive.
ReplyDeleteIt is refreshing to see something positive about our town. Thanks for noticing! I also appreciate the efforts. It does make a small difference!
ReplyDeleteI'd just like to thank the taxpayers of Springfield who are too frequently taken for granted, yet year after year bear the increased burden placed on them by an ungrateful municipal government.
