SPRINGFIELD — Springfield Rotary President Carol Cole and President Elect Christian Craig welcomed Rotary District Governor Rich Berryman to a recent meeting, along with District Assistant Governor Chrisandra Burgess of the Ludlow Club. District Governor Berryman met with the Springfield Rotary to hear of the clubs plans for the 2014-15 year and to share his vision and willingness to help in their efforts to promote Rotary locally as they move forward with plans and projects for the year. The 2014-15 theme for Rotary International is “Light Up Rotary,” and their efforts both locally, regionally and internationally will focus on bringing more awareness to Rotary and to the work they do. The Springfield Rotary Club is committed to service and fellowship, creating a better world for all. All money realized through the various fundraising efforts of the club including the annual Penny Sale is given to worthwhile charities and community needs.
