Patron Appreciation Week at Springfield Town Library Sep 15, 2014 SPRINGFIELD — Monday, September 15 through Saturday, Sept. 20 is Patron Appreciation Week at the Springfield Town Library. The library staff and trustees want to say “Thank You” to all their loyal patrons and show their appreciation for the strong support from the community over the years. All week the library will waive any overdue fines for materials returned between Monday, Sept. 15 and Saturday, Sept. 20. The library will also will give a 50 percent discount on all pre-existing balances to every borrower who clears up any earlier charges. The only exception to this fine-free “Amnesty” will be for any $10 Collection Agency Fee, which must be paid in full since the library has already paid that amount for each patron referred to collections.
