  4. What state or federal office can be located in this fine, historic building? Just think of all the jobs that it would provide by having to upgrade it with elevators, rest rooms, fire suppression systems, wheelchair ramps, etc.

Or, could it be converted into a 2 acre state park? What a "park ranger place" that house would make!

    1. Well it could definitely could be said that the Miller family has done more for Springfield than others whose names grace some of our buildings. You may be on to something.

  5. This house is so beautiful that it should be preserved as close to the original as possible to preserve its historic authenticity for future generations. How about some family living there and turning the largest room into a concert place, and keeping the existing museum, too?

  6. Bed and breakfast, if we could restore the local economy.
