  1. Even at high school age, the more positive contact the youth have with the police can't be a bad thing....

    1. When l drove through Springfield today there was an officer walking the sidewalk . He was quite visible, a good thing. So any positive contact with a "bad guy" will be a good thing provided justice is served.

  2. Great idea, now we'll have one officer walking the sidewalks and the other at the school...who needs cops out on patrol?

  3. Lunch with a policeman. Hmmm, this must be modern education's answer to the old grade school field trips to the police and fire stations. Either that or it's a surreptitious way to enforce the Obama school lunch program: "Hey kid, FREEZE! What's that left on your tray? Go back to your table and eat that delicious government mandated kale and finish your carrot juice or I'm runnin' ya in!"
