Recently I purchased one of these historic barns on what was known as the Whitcomb Farm. Unfortunately the main barn is in dire need of repairs. With your support, I can apply for a 50/50 matched grant and save the barn. View from I-91, between exit 7 & 8 If I can raise $15,000, I will be able to apply for the Vermont Barn Grant which offers a 50/50 matching grant towards the restoration and preservation of Vermont Historic Barns. What the Future Holds: In 2013, Fernleigh Cellars was founded and we have big plans for the future! We're Vermont's first Maple winery and the barn plays a major role in the future production/expansion of our winery. We're also rejuvinating the Farm's amazing land resources in order to bring fresh produce to local farmers markets. Every dollar you donate will help save a little bit of Vermont's rich history.

This is such a crock! Just another scammer trying to tug at the heartstrings of Vermonters and fleece the unwitting while reaping all the rewards. First an undercapitalized brewery and now an under-resourced winery... Both destined for oblivion, but tapping the town and its good citizens for a few bucks before they go!
ReplyDeleteThats the spirit @ anonymous 12:13....typical troll slamming everything instead of providing alternatives or ideas. GTFOH
DeleteI agree another gofundme and where will the money actually end up? Probably another one of SRDC's or SOM's brain child's. We need less of these poorly thought out projects and more that aren't begging for money!
DeleteI clicked on this siter to donate and got a bunch of malware that took over my computor.
