This year, Windsor County Relay for Life is thanking local heroes by inviting all fire departments, police departments, emergency medical services, active military and veterans to participate.

SPRINGFIELD — This year, Windsor County Relay for Life is thanking local heroes by inviting all fire departments, police departments, emergency medical services, active military and veterans to participate in the Local Heroes Lap at this year’s event held Saturday, June 27, at Riverside Middle School in Springfield.
Opening ceremonies for the event begin at 6 p.m. and the Local Heroes Lap will be at 7 p.m. Please arrive in uniform no later than 7 p.m. to walk the track and be recognized for your hard work and dedication to Windsor County.
Relay for Life is an overnight event designed to celebrate survivorship and raise money for the American Cancer Society. Relay for Life helps communities celebrate the lives of those who have faced cancer, remember loved ones lost and fight back against the disease.
