Wayne Johnson, 38, had listened calmly as his public defender entered innocent pleas to two felony counts of first-degree aggravated domestic assault. But moments after he was led out of the courtroom he could be heard yelling obscenities and slamming cell bars. “The record shall reflect that there is a bit of a disturbance in the holding cell area,” Judge Robert Gerety said from the bench as loud thumps and bangs could be heard coming through the wall directly behind his seat. “Is the security staff comfortable proceeding?” Gerety asked a deputy sheriff who was standing nearby. When the officer indicated the situation was contained, Gerety resumed the afternoon’s hearings, punctuated at intervals by muffled shouts and thuds. Springfield Police Officer Steven Neily said Johnson was arrested after an investigation into reports that he had been stabbing walls and furniture with a large hunting knife during a heated argument in his apartment. He also threatened to decapitate a family member if they tried to get a restraining order against him, Neily said. Police were unable to find the weapon, but the affidavit noted Johnson was wearing an empty knife sheath on his belt. A woman told police Johnson “has been using heroin, bath salts and meth (and) has many mental disorders and is unmedicated,” Neily wrote. The woman said, “Wayne has many knives on him and is not in his right mind. All should be cautious around him.” Johnson was sentenced to serve three months in jail last year for resisting arrest in December 2013 when police said he threatened officers with a crossbow, a chainsaw, a can of gasoline and a lighter and a knife in the span of a few minutes.
his little buddy crusty should be right beside him
ReplyDeleteWayne has the characteristic brow ridge of a caveman and about half the intellect.
ReplyDeleteI think that you should be a little more kind, seeing as how our son has the same characteristics. Thank you for that unneeded point of view.
DeleteWhy would you reply about yours n Wayne's son but be anonymous..people obviously know that you're his wife..
DeleteBecause I didn't have the ability to select a different option on the device I was using. Thank you.
DeleteOh, you mean Jeff Horton? Yeah he is a child rapist that got away with it. Many years ago him and Dan Ritchie rode down 20 mile stream in Proctorsville, VT and kidnapped a mentally slow boy. They took turns raping him and then urinated on him and threw him over an embankment for dead. The kid survived and Dan served a long time for his part, but unfortunately Jeff didn't. Beaver should be kept in jail, he is forever found unconscious overdosed and he sells poison to this community. He will end up killing someone or himself if they let him out again. Mark my words.
