A Springfield, Vt., man was arrested outside the Sunoco station on Winchester Street in Keene early Sunday morning and charged with simple assault after striking his wife in the face during an argument, according to Keene police Sgt. James A. Cemorelis. Nicholas Ragucci, 25, allegedly hit Ashley Ragucci, 26, also of Springfield; she suffered minor injuries and was not taken to the hospital, Cemorelis said. Police responded to the incident at around 2:30 a.m. A police report didn’t indicate who reported it. When police got to the scene, the Raguccis were preparing to leave the gas station in a car, according to Cemorelis. Nicholas Ragucci was arrested and charged with a misdemeanor count of domestic violence-simple assault, Cemorelis said. Nicholas Ragucci was released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail and was scheduled to be arraigned in 8th Circuit District Court Division in Keene Monday. After speaking with the couple, police learned there was a bench warrant for Ashley Ragucci out of 5th Circuit District Court Division in Claremont. Ashley Ragucci allegedly owed the court $175 resulting from a charge of driving with a suspended license, according to Cemorelis. After being arrested and taken to the Cheshire County jail, Ashley Ragucci was released on personal recognizance. She now has a hearing concerning the fine in the Claremont court scheduled for May 22, Cemorelis said.
You can take the couple out of Springfield but you can't take the Springfield out of the couple.
ReplyDeleteYeah if only
ReplyDeleteYou really knew anything about the couple that comment wouldn't make any bit of sense!!
Yeah if only the Keene cops had not showed up at 2:30 AM to arrest the wife for an outstanding warrant and to arrest the husband for punching his wife in the face. A fine pair. At 2:30 AM I am sure no drugs or alcohol were involved...
