Police say Springfield teenager wielded knife

A Springfield teen is facing assault charges following allegations that he threatened a girl with a knife.
Steffen M. Whitaker, 16, pleaded innocent to one count of simple assault in District Court on Tuesday. Whitaker was released without having to post bail on a number of conditions, including that he not harass his alleged victim.
