http://www.rutlandherald.com/article/20100425/SPORTS/4250320 # # # # Cosmos churn past MSJ, 17-2 • Rutland Herald • Staff Reports - Published: April 25, 2010 • In Springfield, Brandon Boyle and Taylor Fontaine each gave up a hit and Springfield shut down Mount St. Joseph 17-2 in five innings in Marble Valley League baseball on Saturday. • Fontaine also added a single, double and three RBI as the Cosmos improved to 4-2 heading into Monday's game at Burr and Burton. • Boyle pitched the first three innings and Fontaine the last two, each giving up a run. • Matt Mitchell led the Springfield offense with a triple, home run and four RBI and Aaron Wallace added a run-scoring single and two runs to the Cosmos attack against losing pitcher Johnny Bizon, who went the distance. • Bizon and Matt Sanborn both stroked doubles for MSJ's only hits. •
