The students sold raffle tickets for a dinner for two, then cooked and served the meal to the winners. Advanced art students from Springfield High School displayed beautiful and creative artwork which focused on Haiti and poverty, adding an international flair to the evening. Diners enjoyed the meal, and the event raised $350.00 for the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. Many thanks to the Springfield Food Coop for donating the meal and cooking with the kids, and to Springfield's Shaws for supporting their efforts as well. •
