Community brand launch

Community members are invited to the launch of Springfield's new community branding Tuesday. Created by Arnett Muldrow & Asscociates of Greenville, SC with the help of local input at focus group meetings held last June and attended by many civic-minded citizens.

The brand steering committee made up of members of  Springfield On The Move! and the local chamber of commerce (Mark Blanchard, Pattie Chaffe, Larry Kraft, Carol Lightfoot and Stephen Plunkard) have two brand launch meetings scheduled for Tuesday, August 31st. First an early gathering at 8:30 a.m. and then again at 5:30 p.m. The meetings, each about an hour long, will be held in the Selectboard meeting room on the third floor of the Town Hall at 96 Main Street.

The agenda for this meeting is to present the brand, review the logo design, and to provide participants with free copies of the logo design disc and a style guide. Suggestions on how the community branding might be incorporated into various works will be discussed also.
