2010 Vermont Apple Festival

The 28th Annual Vermont Apple Festival & Craft Show was held this past Saturday, attracting a large turnout. More than 50 vendors took part.

http://www.springfieldvt.com/apple-festival.htm # # # # The 28th Annual Vermont Apple Festival & Craft Show will be coming up Columbus Day Weekend, October 9, 2010 FROM 9 AM - 7PM at Riverside Middle School in Springfield, Vermont. It's a fall tradition and was honored as a 2007 Top Ten Fall Event in the state by the Vermont Chamber! There's the annual Apple Pie contest! There will be two categories for Best Pies, Traditional & Non-Traditional. Pies need to be in by 10:30 am on Saturday and the Contest will take place at Noon! See the RULES link at the top of the page for our Apple Pie contest. • The Vermont Apple Festival & Craft Show is a celebration of the fall harvest, with over 50 crafters, live entertainment, agriculture and activities for the whole family, and, of course, Apples! • Make sure to see the Official Apple! • Our crafters go through a jury process to ensure quality and variety in our show. New this year, Apple River Race, purchase an apple that will float down river, prizes for the first 3 places, 5k Road Race, and a Car Cruise Afternoon, bring your old or new car and put it on display. • There's the annual Apple Pie contest!
