Downtown Christmas tree lighting

The Town Christmas Tree was lighted up by Santa shortly after his 5:30 p.m. downtown arrival Friday, December 3rd.

The Community band wwa be present providing musical accompaniment for caroling beginning at 5 p.m. Later on, at 7 p.m., Friends of the Springfield Library held an open house as part of the festivities.
