Mass. state police arrest Springfield, Vt. resident for drug trafficking

A car’s noisy muffler led to the arrest of a man and woman - one from Springfield, Mass. and the other from Springfield, Vt. - on trafficking cocaine Thursday night on Interstate 91 in Greenfield.

  1. Isn't this the second or third time for the guy in this story? Isn't this the 6th or 7th time we have read about drug related charges surrounding the Springfield area?

    Nope we don't have a problem in our town...Let's keep moving them in. Why hasn't Springfield or the State Drug Agency gotton a search warrant for her home? Why haven't we attached her home OR here is a novel approach..hold the owner of the property accountable. Wouldn't take long with fining the owners before they started screening their applicants better.

  3. I understand that they were caught in Springfield Mass. But they were from Springfield VT. Which means that the stash they were carrying was in this town and at their house. DUH!

  4. Is this the same women whose son Nick Putnam and daughter -in -law Katie Putnam also been recently been arrested for drug issues too? Also were in a fire and lost the apartment they were living in, oh and they have 5 children. Where is the state in all this?
