SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: Cpl. Norton made contact with Nancy and her passenger when he observed them pull into the Quik Stop Car Wash on River Street in North Springfield. Feeling it was an odd time to wash a vehicle and noting that the convenience store was closed for business he decided to investigate. Upon making contact Cpl. Norton noticed that Nancy appeared to be unsteady on her feet and smelled strongly of alcohol. Following his investigation Nancy was placed under arrest for the above violations and processed at the Springfield Police Department.

Incident: Operating After Suspension

Roy Towsley
AGE: 35
Springfield, VT

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: After being stopped for speeding by Cpl. Norton it was found that Roy Towsley was under criminal suspension for a prior DUI conviction and numerous Failures to Pay or Appears. He was processed at the Springfield Police Department where he was released to the custody of a Parole Officer and subsequently lodged at the Southern State Correctional Facility for a Furlough Violation.

Charge)s): Grossly Negligent Operation of a M/V

Heath Jones
AGE: 20
Springfield, VT

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: After receiving complaints of vehicles operating erratically in the Springfield Plaza, Cpl. Norton responded to the area to observe the situation. While watching the Plaza he observed a silver Subaru pull into the parking lot and enter the parking aisles in front of Peebles Department Store. He then observed the vehicle begin spinning it's tires and turning, causing the vehicle to lose traction, drift and spin around. It was noted that there were several cars and persons within a close proximity to the incident. Contact was made with the operator, Heath Jones and he was subsequently arrested for the above violation and processed at the Springfield Police Department.
