Selectboard commits water to biomass project

The town selectboard in Springfield, Vt., has voted for an agreement to commit 30,000 of gallons of municipal water a day to a proposed biomass project.

  3. good thing we have some grass roots organizations out there that pointed out that this proposed project wanted to suck up all the water!!!!!....good grief you would think they would have known the town could never feasibly support that amount of water usage and/or five wells being dug would not work either. We actually had citizens who were ready to give them the shirts off our back with no investigation into the matter on their own part--going to let the officials make the decisions for them.....yup
