42nd Annual Springfield Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament Winners

SPRINGFIELD, VT -A beautiful sunny day at the challenging Crown Point Country Club offered the 14 teams of golfers who participated in the Springfield Chamber of Commerce 42nd Annual Hackers Tournament a great day of golf and camaraderie. With numerous fun events like the longest drive, hand mashie throw, a hole-in-one challenge on the 18th green and a putting contest, the golfers had plenty of challenges and laughs.
The winners of this year’s 42nd Annual Hackers Tournament are:
Flight #1, First Place Gross-“59”, Bill Morlock, Fred Koledo, Peter Andrews and Mark Augustauskas.
Flight #1, First Place Net- “45”, Bob Kendall, Paul Kendall, Jeff Perkins and Greg Robitaille.
Flight #2, First Place Gross- “60”, BJ Crowley, Kevin Hyden, Rick Eastman and Andy Bladyka.
Flight #2, First Place Net- “38”, Nell Hughes, Carolyn Lane, Candace Montesi and David Montesi.
Longest Drive – Men’s - Mark Augustauskas. Women’s - Carolyn Lane
Straightest Drive – Men’s - Chris Cenate. Women’s - Mallory Peterson.
Closest to the pin- Hole #5 - Cole Lewis at 16’ 10”, Hole #9 - David Montesi at 22’8”, Hole #13 Mark Augustauskas at 7’1” and Hole #18 – Jim Doppmeyer at 15’3”.
Kudos, to the Hackers Golf Committee for putting together a great tournament: Bob Kendall, Chairman, Christian Craig, Carolyn Lane, Jeff Matulonis, Nell Hughes, Jeff Perkins, Bob Herbst and Dan Patria. A big thank you to the Crown Point Country Club Pro’s Dan Russell and Todd Nalette for their assistance in making this one of the best tournaments ever.
