TV service from the phone company

VTel is gearing up to launch a new TV service which they will begin rolling out before the end of this year.
See proposed channel line up here:

The giant satellite dish pictured will be used to receive TV stations which will then be transmitted to customers over the company's new fiber optic network.

Plans call for 500 video channels, with more HDTV, more local content, and better picture clarity, all at lower cost than cable or satellite.

  2. I have refused to do business with either Comcast or Dish due to their billing practices and subscription packages that subsidize programming I detest.
If VTel is truly able to offer a la cart programming, fairly priced, they could own the market.

    2. If you get free TV & Internet access on your Verizon cell phone possibly you too will become one of the people about to die by driving while texting, watching TV or talking on your phone. I am one of the old people about to die and personally can't wait for Vtel to launch their new TV service. Can't come soon enough.

I actually like my Verdzion Vizor.

      I got it in London.

It has a 4G screen in the uper right corner of my motorcycle helmet vizor.

It is voice operated and actually hybernates when you are riding except for radio and gps and stuff like that.

At home, I just plug it in to the old T.V. and it's like having a satallite and computer all in one.

The hollographic projector is really fun for the kids too.

    4. Haha... Can't wait for this to be available! It's about bundling services, not necessarily new technology. Sheesh,

We got the dish in a governmental trade
      the Canadian's were very greatfull
when we laid belly up on building our own electric plants.

You see, we are paying them... To build more dams... and sell us back more electricity that they profit on why we perpetually pay them over and over again while never building our own infrastucture...

They wanted to make sure your perception was limited.

And they thought giving their State Side Chronies an old obsolete dish with dated technology would look good to the dumbed down population of Vermont. Starting with Springfield of course.

      Funny ???

who is pocketing the difference in $$$$$ ????

    2. Pretty sure the dish is made by a US company based in Arizona. You speak about not building US infrastructure... isn't installing equipment like this in the US exactly doing that?

  4. Comcast will finally have some competition. Hopefully this will start to drive their prices down a little. GOD knows they are way over priced right now! To all you guys that say you have TV on your phone, do you get local programming? SAPA, WNNE, FOX44?? I didn't think so. I like to be able to come home, crack open a beer after work, watch the local news and relax. You can't do that with a cell phone.

    1. yeah.... actually we can..

We can even see this blog on a cell phone.

Cell phones get social media. Social Media leads the news in timing and accuracy.
I saw every single T.V. station's report of the Tractor Trashing on my phone from Youtube, mostly moments after their first original releases but faster than you could switch your T.V. channels...

But we don't drink beer or watch T.V. for that long, because we read several P.H.D. level documents that linked alcohol to health problems and watching to much T.V. to a lower I.Q. ... found those on the cell phone too.

Nope, just don't really get that encyclopedia access over the T.V. line.. Just the Simpsons in HD. which,... is also on our cell phones.

But then again They Have internet for you already. It's all about bundling services you know....
I read that on my cell phone.
