SPRINGFIELD — It has been a special season so far for the Windsor Yellow Jackets. They stretched their record to 6-0, setting up a showdown with Bellows Falls on Friday.
“That will be a big game,” Windsor coach Sandy Clary said.
The Jacks led 1-0 at halftime on a goal from Ashlee Dimick that was assisted by Nikki Kibling.
Seven minutes into the second half Kibling knocked in an unassisted tally.
Goalie Emma Saucier only had to touch the ball once to get the shutout.
Cosmo goalie Erin Chlebak collected seven saves.
The Jacks had a 6-4 edge in penalty corners and an 8-1 advantage in shots.
Jaime Nolan, Taylor Potwin, Ashley Creighton and Mariah March were outstanding for the Jacks
“Those kids were really big for us in the midfield. They controlled the midfield,” Clary said.
