Man charged with lewd and lascivious conduct

  1. The article states that Anthony Chase could face up to 90 years in jail.
    Who does the State Attorney think he is fooling? Cases like this have come up before here in southern Vermont and this (alleged) child molester will, at most, spend 18 months to 2 years in jail. And.... will be put in a medical unit or solitary....for his own protection!! Where is the justice?

    1. Well he will be branded for life. Bigger question is, is there anyone running against the States attorney? We seem to have people like Dennis Allen bouncing in and out of court and old people being mugged, etc. Perhaps it is time for a change in personnell at the States Attorney's office.
