Did you feel the earthquake?

A 4.0 magnitude earthquake in southwestern Maine was felt in many parts of New England Tuesday night. Did you feel any shaking around 7:15 pm?

The quake was centered near Lake Arrowhead, Maine and rattled homes and teeth all the way down into Boston. Preliminary measurements by the U.S. Geological Survey said the quake occurred 16.8 miles underground and hit 4.6 on the Richter Scale. Lake Arrowhead is about 31 miles west of Portland.

Did you feel the earthquake this far from the epicenter? Or do you think people are overreacting?

Felt in Springfield, VT at 7:15 or so. I was on the phone and my bed started shaking. I thought my daughter was having a seizure. Then I posted on Facebook and seen 5 other friends within a 40 mile radius of me posting about it. -- Barbara J.

My bed was shaking... But I am not sure if it was the earthquake

  2. We were eating dinner and the whole house started shaking. We looked at each other and at the same time said "EARTHQUAKE". Felt like logs rolling under the house.
