Man fights a rabid fox on his front porch

When Joshua Gilman of Springfield got home from work last week, he had an unwelcome visitor on his front porch.

  1. Allow me to get on my soapbox again. Registering a dog at the Springfield town office means they have an up to date rabies certificate. The tag is to be worn at all times. Every year when I register my dog I ask about my street. I guess their computer system can only go alphabetically by surname. You would think they'd just fix the excel columns to do both. At least 3 dogs are not licensed. One family rents, and they only register two of the four dogs. At another address across town. And they get all wiggy about it. Incredible.

  2. Get all the rabid foxes now before our guns are banned. Like someone said on the police blog, it's easier to shoot then shout at a rabid fox.
