State to study ‘smart meter’ concerns

State officials will hire an expert early this year to help determine whether Vermonters have any reason to fear the wireless “smart meters” being affixed to homes across the state.

  1. smart meters lead to high electric bills1/4/13, 1:56 PM

Right now you are all recieving your Green Mountain Power electric bill.

It is the highest cost you have ever paid in your entire life for electricity.

    OUR electric bills are criminal.

Green Mountain Power should be held acountable for their part.

  2. Reality is that protesting against automated meter reading that destroy jobs while being much lower in costs is mainly the motivation for the nonsense. Which do you choose? Someone peeking in your windows and invading you privacy once a month while drawing a wage plus lucrative benefits for a job that requires an IQ of 70 or having your meter automatically read and having lower electricity costs because of the automation? Don't be fooled by the nonsense spreaders that will do and say anything to prevent this from happening. The same thing happened when horseless carriages started to appear. How did that work out?

  3. One of the wierd side effects of amsrt meters is that your teeth grow. Of course no-one will tell you this. But your teeth will grow larger and not fit in your mouth untill the gums peel back and they fall out.
