Submitted by VT Journal on Tue, 04/02/2013 - 1:05pm
SPRINGFIELD, VT -Springfield on the Move’s (SOM) Annual Membership Drive ends on a successful note, exceeding its fundraising and number of members goal. Springfield on the Move is a not for profit organization, our mission is Revitalization of Downtown Springfield. Memberships range from $25 to $100+ and finance the work of revitalization - from helping to fund improvements of downtown buildings, supporting business recruitment efforts, establishing a downtown event like the Market Madness Street Fair or carrying on the annual Community (Farmer’s) Market.
Springfield on the Move Board Members thank all the individuals and businesses who have participated in this year’s membership campaign. We also thank the voters who supported our town funding at the polls. Our work is possible because of your interest and investment.
now they shouldn't need money from the taxpayers,if they got more then they needed, they have a profit now right
