ublished May 25, 2013 in the Rutland Herald Wasps no-hit Cosmos BASEBALL Woodstock 10, Springfield 4 SPRINGFIELD — Jason Tarleton didn’t realize his pitching staff had tossed a no-hitter until after the game, but Connor Joyce (four innings, winning pitcher) and Nat Poljacik turned the trick. “It was a weird game and it didn’t feel like a 10-4 game,” Tarleton said after his team improved to 5-8. The Wasps broke it open against Mike Muther with a seven-run fourth. Bradley Lewis led the offense with three hits and two RBI and Dougie Avellino had a pair of hits and scored twice for the Wasps, who will host Windsor on Tuesday.
