Saturday, June 8, is Vermont’s Free Fishing Day -- the one day anyone may go fishing in Vermont without a fishing license.
June 8 & 9: FREE entry into all Vermont State Park day use areas all weekend.

Spend the day hiking, biking, swimming, picnicking or just relaxing with friends and family in your favorite parks.

If you’ve been looking for a good excuse to give fishing a try, here it is! Finding a place to fish in Vermont is easy,Vermont has 284 lakes and over 7,000 miles of clear streams offering the greatest variety of high quality fresh water fishing in the Northeast.
