There are 3-4 subjects currently going around town taking a survey on consumers feelings on genetically modified foods and labeling of this information on packaging. We made contact with one of the subjects, Joseph Stark, this evening. It is unclear if these subjects are required to register with the Town as we were not aware of their presence here until this evening. Again all they seem to be doing is gathering information on your thoughts on product information packaging. The subjects going around represent this organization: http://www.vpirg.org/ -- This is by no means an endorsement of same....just informational

There was a vendor, Daniel Hanson, operating in Springfield selling educational products. Please be advised he has been denied his vendor permit due to unfavorable practices.

Amy Cole, is she not the woman shown in those mug shots a few weeks back. 1x heroin. Just what needs to be done to get these rats off the street for good?
I remember a few years back:
Such a deal...We will fix your aging sewer pipes if we can build a prison in your town. Well we (Springfield) got the prison and new sewer pipes. Just look what is crawling out of those sewer pipes........

  2. I agree with the sewer pipes, it is only going to get worse but it seems like the town is in denial.
