Pitchforks and Spoons is a documentary that follows a week-long challenge to switch to locally grown food and the benefits involved. Thank you for supporting Pitchforks & Spoons. Pitchforks and Spoons is a documentary that follows a week-long challenge to switch to locally grown food and the benefits involved. It also tells the story of Vermont farmers, and their day-to-day lives providing for consumers. Over the course of one year, our team will travel across Vermont looking for unique farms to feature on this film. Once we have selected the subjects, our host, a local community member, will be challenged to prepare "everyday" meals using only the products from these featured farmers. Also, included in the film will be individual biographies of the farmers included, and a brief history of Vermont agriculture. We as a small video team are exited to share the culture of Vermont, and we hope that in doing so, we can inspire people to invest in local food. If we were to receive the funding, most of the money would go towards travel expenses and for publicity. Any thing else would used purely to enhance the video itself, and to benefit the farmers. Thank you for helping us to make this possible, Sincerely, Elliot Thompson & Ryan Cooney Risks and challenges Learn about accountability on Kickstarter Like with all films there are unseen problems that might arise, especially in the production itself. In our case in particular, we face the challenges of any other high-schoolers, lots of homework, sports, events, and lots of other things that may delay our filming. However, we believe that we are dedicated and determined enough to successfully meet our goals. The only thing we ask is for support from our community and from our backers, they are the ones that make this possible.
