10/08/13 1800hours

Simple Assault 

Juvenile Female
AGE: 18 (17 at time of offense) 
Springfield, Vermont

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 9/7/13, the defendant allegedly struck another individual in the face during the street festival. The other individual allegedly then pushed the defendant, who fell onto a storefront window, causing it to break.



10/04/13 - 0926 hours

Fairground Road

Domestic Assault 

Juvenile Female
AGE: 15
Springfield, VT

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: A 15 year old juvenile was arrested for Domestic Assault following an investigation into an alleged incident that occurred on 09/27/13 between her and another juvenile family member. The accused was issued a Juvenile Citation to appear in the Family Court at a later date.



10/5/13 0056hrs

Violation of Abuse Prevention Order

Corbin Simoneau
AGE: 22
Newport, New Hampshire

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: Defendant was arrested for allegedly violating a relief from abuse order by having contact with the plaintiff at her residence. Simoneau was released on a 24 curfew to be in his residence until arraignment the following day.



10/04/13 - 1356hrs Springfield Plaza

Retail Theft

Candance Alberti 
Age 31
Springfield, VT

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: Candace was arrested following a report from the Springfield Rite Aid that she had allegedly attempted to leave the store without paying for at least $100 worth of merchandise. She was cited and released from the scene.



10/4/13 1900hrs

Minor in Possession of Alcohol

Juvenile
AGE: 14
Springfield, Vermont

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: A 14 year old juvenile was issued a citation to appear in Windsor Superior Court (Family Division) for allegedly having consumed alcohol.



10/04/13 - 1522 Main Street

Violating Conditions of Release

Dorian Thompson
AGE: 24
Springfield, VT

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: Dorian Thompson was arrested following a traffic stop on Main Street where it was found he was allegedly violating court conditions stating he has a 24 hour curfew at his residence. He was lodged at the Southern State Correctional Facility.



09/27/13 - 1530

Chester Road (VT Route 11 W)

Negligent Operation of Motor Vehicle

Christopher Riendeau
AGE: 21
Weathersfield, VT

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: Following the report of a motor vehicle crash on Chester Road, Christopher Riendeau was issued a citation to appear in court on a later date for allegedly operating a motor vehicle in a negligent manner which led to the crash and injury to a passenger.

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: Hayes Therrien was arrested for allegedly driving a motor vehicle while criminally suspended following a traffic stop on VT Route 10. He was released on a citation with a future court date.

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: Elizabeth McAllister was arrested after she allegedly operated a motor vehicle on a public highway with a license that was criminally suspended for five prior civil suspension convictions.
