SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On November 03, 2013 this department responded to suspicious activity on Fairground Heights Road located in Springfield, Vermont. Complainant stated that three subjects just tried to get into his vehicle but he was able to scare them off Complainant stated the three subjects took off down Fairground Heights Road leaving their vehicle in the driveway of number 72 Fairground Heights. After a brief search of the area we located two subjects walking on foot on Fairground Road near the Riverside Middle School. After speaking with the two males, the owner of the vehicle consented to a search of the vehicle. During the search two electronic devices were located which he stated belonged to another passenger. After confirming the items did not belong to the other passenger, the items were seized. The male eventually stated that he allegedly retrieved the items from vehicles in Springfield, Vermont on this date so he could sell them. The items were returned to the owner's.
A citation was issued to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on 12-17-13
